• Volunteers will receive an event T-shirt and lunch, with the exception of Friday night shifts. Parking at this time is being negotiated. We may have limited parking this year. Public transportation or carpooling is encouraged.
• There will be a Mandatory Orientation Meeting for all volunteers. Date, time and location have yet to be determined. Parking passes, if available, will only be given out at the mandatory meeting. No passes will be mailed. Information regarding the mandatory orientation meeting will be sent via e-mail. Do your absolute best to come, there will be vital information given as well as a tour of the festival site.
• The Volunteer Leads this year are Kenneth Camacho and Carol Takafuji. All questions may be directed to them. Communication will be done via e-mail. Kenneth’s e-mail address is camachokenneth@ymail.com . Unfortunately Carol has no e-mail address.
• Students will receive a Service Hours Letter at the completion of their shifts and will be given at Check Out (upon request).
• Completion of the General Release Form and Volunteer Application Form MUST be turned in to Kenneth no later than March 30th, no exceptions. All requests will be considered, but because there are many volunteers, there will be no guarantees on shifts or areas assigned. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please understand if it is not possible.
• Volunteers who sign up for the last shifts of the day are requested to stay until we have completely shut down for the evening. We encourage volunteers to sign up for the entire day or for multiple shifts. Full day volunteers will have priority over others.
