The Cherry Blossom Festival SoCal is holding its 1st Walk-A-Thon fundraiser thanks to Rich Boccia, IB Head of Schools for Blair International Baccalaureate School. Also two of the teachers honored at the Cherry Blossom Festival SoCal in 2010 for “Teachers Making A Difference” was Debbie Curtin, Lead Teacher at Blair IB HS Health Careers Academy where 80% of her students are classified as being vulnerable or high risk and Irad Orduna who is the lead advisor for Blair’s Middle School Conflict Resolution Program in partnership with the Western Justice Center, where students are trained to help other students resolve their own problems and build a positive climate at the school.
