There will be 2 screenings of the movie each day on Saturday and Sunday (12:30 & 2:30) at the East-West Players,120 Judge John Aiso Street, LA 90017 at the Cherry Blossom Festival. Film maker Lane Nishikawa will present opening remarks for each film. We are also scheduling a Q&A session to be announced.
The Cherry Blossom Festival SoCal is excited and proud to present 2 screenings of A Lane Nishikawa film – “Only The Brave” as part of it’s festival on April 10th and 11th at the East-West Players, 120 Judge John Aiso Street, LA 90017. The film stars include Lane Nishikawa, Tamlyn Tomita, Mark Dacascos, Yuji Okumoto, Jason Scott Lee, Pat Noriyuki Morita, Jeff Fahey and an impressive supporting cast.
It captures the human tragedies, sacrifices and stories of the all-volunteer Japanese American 100th/442nd Regimental Combat Team who suffered over 800 casualties to save 211 Texas soldiers of the “Lost Battalion” in what is regarded today as one of the ten most significant battles of World War II.
