Hawaiian Island native Kamaka Brown has been making people
laugh on both sides of the Pacific for several years now.
He’s a multi-talented writer, motivational speaker,
comic and entertainer.
In Hawaii he appeared on local television on “Hot Hawaiian
Nights” and performed at the Hawaiian Waikiki Beach
Hotel, Bo Irvine’s Comedy Club and other venues around
Honolulu. He’s hosted Motown’s Temptations, rock
and roll Icon Chuck Berry, and blues legend B.B. King in New
Year’s shows at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel.
On the West Coast he has opened for Dennis Pavao, Makaha
Sons, Sistah Robi, Sean Na’auoa and appeared at numerous
Southern California Ho’olaulea festivities. He’s
opened for Ho’okena, Hapa, Henry Kapono, Ale’a,
Cecilio Rodrigues, Sudden Rush, internationally acclaimed
reggae band Big Mountain and jazz fusion group Hiroshima.
No stranger to Las Vegas, Kamaka opened for the godfather
of Polynesian hip hop Fiji, Amy Hanai’alii and Uncle
Willy K. After numerous appearances on Hawaii’s Perry
and Price Show in Honolulu, Kamaka was also invited to visit
their annual radio show in Las Vegas several times to the
delight of all.
Kamaka has performed at North Hollywood’s Ha Ha Café,
the Comedy Store in Hollywood, and Pasadena’s Ice House.
He’s produced a series of successful comedy shows called
the “Comedy Luau” in Southern California. Presently
