NANCIANN HORVATH started her acting career on the east coast in PA., NJ and New York City. She is in the SAG and AFTRA unions, has done commercials, been on “Days Of Our Lives”, “General Hospital” and “Unsolved Mysteries,” to name a few. Nanciann is also a nurse and blending acting and nursing has always been very rewarding. She has been involved with SAG Foundation BookPALS for over ten years and has read at KCET-TV, The LA Zoo, The Peterson Auto Museum, Children's Hospital, and many schools in LA and OC.

Story telling by Book Pals, SAG with Phoenix Brown
Phoenix Brown is a native of Jacksonville, Arkansas, a veteran Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, and a published children’s book author. Her first book, I Love to Exercise is endorsed by Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and the P.Gators Urban Relief Foundation (addressing childhood obesity). Phoenix has traveled the world and entertained in places such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Japan and Korea to name a few. In addition, she has danced for such artist as Beyoncé and Shania Twain. She has also appeared in Joe Boxer and Gatorade Campaigns. Recently, she was a contestant on Don’t Forget the Lyrics and America’s Got Talent. As a former manager of five years for the popular children’s bookstore Storyopolis in Encino California, which boasts clients such as Steven Spielberg and Tyler Perry, she selected both classics as well as up and coming stories to appear on shows such as MSNBC and ABC news. Phoenix holds a B.A. in Media communications with an emphasis in Editing and Publishing from Henderson State University and is currently a candidate for her MFA in Creative Writing.

Story Telling by Book Pals, SAG with Sunny Stone Sunny Stone is a native New Yorker who has been part of SAG Foundation BookPALS for almost a year and is currently reading to three kindergarten classes at Hancock Park Elementary on Thursdays during her lunch break from work. She is an aspiring singer, writer, producer currently working at AFTRA while she completes her project. Sunny has always had a heart for people and that is why she also is involved with the church choir, Food for the Hungry, God Chicks and donating money to Oasis Generosity Water (fresh water wells are built all over the world). Sunny says that reading on Thursdays always gives her great joy!
